Email Settings
The Email Settings form allows you to specify the mail account settings.
In addition to the settings here, you should consider the following:
- Refer to your email software's help documentation to determine the SMTP server address and port for the email account. Alternatively, consult with your network administrator or email service provider to provide you with the correct SMTP server settings for the email account.
- The DTS email facility currently does not support connection encryption (SSL and TLS). An email account that does not use SSL or TLS encryption must be used. Refer to your email software's help documentation for further information or consult with your network administrator or email service provider.
- Firewall settings on your network or computer may prevent DTS from communicating with the SMTP server. Check your computer's firewall settings or consult with your network administrator if you are experiencing connection problems with the DTS email facility.

| Your Name | Type in a display name |
| Email address | Type in the email address from which the mail will be sent |
| Outgoing mail server (SMTP) | Type in the name or IP address of your outgoing SMTP mail server |
| Outgoing server (SMTP) port number | The default port for SMTP servers is 25 |
| Server requires authentication | select this check box if the SMTP server requires a user name and password |
| User Name | type in your email account user name (this edit box will be greyed out if server authentication is not required) |
| Password | type in your email account password (this edit box will be greyed out if server authentication is not required) |
