Save a screen configuration

Tips for saved configurations:

  • Give configurations meaningful names that describe their purpose.
  • Save frequently used layouts as Private configurations to build your personal workspace.
  • Create Global configurations for shared operational views agreed across teams.
  • Organise saved configurations into folders so that they are easier to find.

Activity steps:

  1. Create a screen configuration.
  2. Click the ellipsis icon (...) next to the configuration name at the top of the screen and select Save As from the menu.
  3. Enter a clear and descriptive configuration Name.

To save the configuration into a folder, include the folder name followed by your site's configured delimiter (the default is >>). For example, Monthly Reports>>Mine Delivered saves the configuration into a folder called Monthly Reports. You can nest folders using multiple delimiters; for example, Region>>Monthly>>Ore Feed. Whitespace around the delimiter is trimmed automatically.

Note: The total name including folder names and delimiters must not exceed 100 characters. Configuration names must be unique within the same folder. See Configuration folders.

  4. Select the Visibility:
    • Private: Available only to you.
    • Global: Shared with all Reconcilor users for your site.

Security Note: Saving a configuration as Global requires the Publish permission for that screen.

  5. Select whether the configuration is Locked:
    • Locked: Used in the Data approval module to approve data and cannot be edited.
    • Unlocked: Can be edited.
  6. Click Save.

The configuration displays in the Saved Configurations list for that screen and can be selected at any time.
