Configure model comparison data

Use the Configure Data panel on the Model Comparison screen to select one or more models and display inventory or depletion (using survey).

Activity steps:

  1. Open the Model Comparison screen.
  2. Click the Configure Data icon on the right hand toolbar.

    The Configure Data panel displays.

  3. Select the Left Axis Type and Right Axis Type from:
    • Value(s)
    • Comparison(s)
  4. Select the Left Axis Unit and Right Axis Unit. The options available depend on the selected axis type:
    • If the type is Value(s), select from:
      • Tonnes
      • Volume
      • Grade unit; for example, g/t
      • Metal unit; for example, oz
    • If the type is Comparison(s), select from:
      • Factor
      • Percentage
      • Percentage change
      • Actual difference as a configured unit; for example, t or kt

    Note: If you select Factor,Percentage, Percentage change or the Actual difference (unit), you must select the comparison in Data to include.

  5. Select the Left Measures and Right Measures from the drop-down lists. The options available depend on the selected axis units.
  6. To show tonnes, grade, or metal on the other axis, in the Choose more data to include field group:
    1. Select values for:
      • Block Model Type: Resource, Reserve, Grade Control, and so on.
      • Block Model: Version of the block model type.
      • Comparison Value Type Grouping: For example, Survey, Design and Haulage.
      • Data to Include: Drop-down list options depend on the value selected for Comparison Value Type Grouping:
        • With Survey selected: Model (survey) data is included.
        • With Design selected: Model (design) data is included.
        • With Haulage selected: Mining Model (haulage) data is included.
    2. Click Add.

      The Included Data displays at the bottom of the Configure Data panel.

    3. To include more data, repeat steps 6 a-b.
  7. To delete a dataset from the included data, click the x before the dataset name.
  8. Select or clear the Left Axis and Right Axis checkboxes based on the axis configuration set in the top of the panel.
  9. Click Apply to update the screen's chart or table and keep the Configure Data panel open.
  10. Click Apply & Close to update the screen's chart or table and close the Configure Data panel.

    Note: If metric-level attribute visibility has been configured for your site, hidden measures, grades, and attributes are excluded from the table and chart data. Configuration of visibility is managed by your Datamine consultant.
