Views in LandTracker are pre-defined sets of data that display a list of records in a data grid. Changes that you make to the data grid, such as applying a filter, can be saved as a custom view. See Manage Custom Views.

When three-level view grouping is enabled, the view panel organises views by module, category and individual view. System-generated views are assigned to categories automatically, and custom views can be assigned to an existing or new category. Action views are grouped in the same way.

View Types

There are three different types of view.

Icon	View Type	Description
	System-Generated	Automatically created, mostly based on your templates and action definitions. Assigned to categories automatically when three-level view grouping is enabled. Cannot be deleted or modified.
	Private	Custom views that you have created and only you can see. Can be used in alerts.
None	Shared	Custom views that are visible to everyone. Only administrators and editors can share views, and modify or delete shared views.

View Grouping

Three-level view grouping is enabled by default. Expand a module and category to find an individual view. You can disable the feature in Application Settings to return to the original two-level view structure.

View Configuration

You can create and manage views in the Asset Browser. See Manage Custom Views.

Administrators have access to many further configuration options for views. See Configure Views.
