Append New Data to a Drillhole Project

The append process inspects the source data and appends or updates the drillhole data stored in the drillhole project with any new records. Use this method when you update the source data independently of the drillhole project.

  3. On the Drillhole tab, in the Drillhole Project group, click Refresh Drillhole Data.

    The Project Validation window displays. The refresh tool updates the drillhole project tables with data from the source tables.

    4. Discover uses the following rules to determine if new data exists in the source files:

    • Collar file—Checks the HoleID.
    • Survey file—Checks the HoleID and survey point depth.
    • Downhole data files—Checks the HoleID and From and To intervals.
